Why is it a “load of shit?” The reports are there. We tell consumers about it so they can protect themselves. If you choose not to believe or to decide we have something against consumers because we’re reporting on adverse effects actually reported by the company, as well as FDA and other sources. That is your choice. But remember, successful does not mean honest or ethical.

It is illegal to ask for payment before the mortgage restructuring is complete. I would send them a letter explaining why you are withholding payment and letting them know you will be more than willing to pay the fee once your mortgage has been restructured. I would add a cc on the letter to the Virginia Attorney General’s office, as well. It is important for this company to know that you are aware of your rights, the law and the proper channels to take for resolution. Good luck!
